Please Hold My Door – Literally

Abdul R.-H.

Many years ago I remember, I had a ride. I didn’t enjoy it very much as the cab driver told me “sir, please hold on to your door. It’s broken. I’m afraid, it may fall and with it, you may”.

I was seated at the rear seat and throughout the 50 minutes’ journey I was holding my door tightly. The ride was so bumpy and since I was tall, I hit the ceiling at least 19 times.

I said to the driver “man, can you please slow down a bit?” He said “ok sir, I will take care, you just take care of my door” 🙂
